Hazen Figure Skating Club

HFSC was formed in 1985 with the participation of 20 students and currently involves 40 registered members. Our club rents the ice we skate on from Hazen Winter Sports Association. Our skating season typically runs from October to March. We traditionally hold an ice show in March for the public to come watch and enjoy. This gives the skaters a chance to "Show Off" the skills they have acquired throughout the season.

The purpose of the club is to encourage the instruction, practice and advancement of members in - Compulsory, Figures, Freeskating, Dancing, Moves in the Field, and Pair Skating. USFSA encourages basic skills structure and philosophy to sponsor Amateur Ice Shows and promote figure skating in general.
